Gap Conference
In July of 2013, the Government Accountability Project (GAP) held a major press event at the National Press Club to shine a light on the issues of privacy and the lack of whistleblower protections available to Americans today. This event occurred a month after the Snowden revelations, so Americans were just beginning to learn the extent of the surveillance state.
